About the System

WaterInfoSys was created to help in documentation and dissemination of water governance, water related events, and water sanitation information. Initially, the data presented here are from General Luna, Quezon Province.

This system aims to contribute by providing organized dataset, data documentation and inventory. This information could serve as a reference will greatly help the policy making bodies, water sectors, planners and engineers in assessing the nature, extent and availability of local water resources to support the improvements needed by the developing municipalities.

About the Researchers

Engr. Delia Evalista

Engr. Delia Evangelista is a registered Civil Engineer and Registered Master Plumber and has eleven (11) years of affiliation in Southern Luzon State University (SLSU). She is currently a faculty of Civil Engineering Department of the said university. On the year 2017, SLSU signed a five-year MOA (2017-2022)) with DILG National in the establishment of CALABARZON WATSAN HUB for capacity Development to assist LGU to promote and implement the iWASH Governance initiated by the Joint Programme on PROWATER. During those periods the researcher has actively participated in most trainings which inspired her to contribute in some researchable areas to meet the SDGs target towards 2030, whereas the impact of water, sanitation and hygiene can achieve the other sixteen (16) other SDGs. Accurate data records are basically the most crucial baseline for planners and for both private and government agencies.

Engr. Carla May Ceribo

Engr. Carla May S. Corro- Ceribo is a Certified Professional Computer Engineer (PCpE). Affiliated to Southern Luzon State University for eleven(11) years as Instructor and currently the Chairperson of Computer Engineering Department under College of Engineering. Graduated Master of Engineering with specialization in Computer Engineering at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and BS Computer Engineering at Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology. This research is a collaborative work of Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering Department under College of Engineering of Southern Luzon State University to be true to its mission and vision.
